Frequently asked questions
How do I apply a LUT to a video?
Pick a video from Photos or Files, choose a LUT from the list, adjust the
strength slider to taste, then export. You can save the result to Photos
or share it.
Can I import my own LUTs?
Yes. Import any Adobe .cube file through the Files picker.
Imported LUTs are stored on your device and appear in the LUT list.
What does the strength slider do?
It blends between your original footage (0) and the fully graded look (1),
so you can dial in a subtler result.
Do these LUTs convert Log footage?
No. The bundled LUTs are Rec.709 creative looks, not Log → Rec.709
conversion LUTs. For best results, apply them to footage that is already
in Rec.709.
Where are my videos processed?
Everything happens on your device. Your videos and files are never
uploaded. See our Privacy Policy for details.
My exported video looks wrong or the app crashes.
Make sure you're on iOS 17 or later and have enough free storage for the
export. If the problem continues, email us with a description of the
video (format, resolution) and what you were doing.
