Privacy Policy

The short version: CoupleConnection has no server of its own and no user accounts. We don't collect, store, see, or sell any of your personal information. Your words stay in your own iCloud, shared only with your partner.

What we collect

Nothing. CoupleConnection has no backend server and no sign-in. We, the developer, do not collect, receive, store, or have access to any of your personal data.

Your content

The names, daily answers, check-ins, assessment results, and dates you enter are stored in your personal iCloud account (Apple CloudKit) — on your device and in Apple's iCloud. When you invite your partner, this content is shared privately between the two of you through iCloud's built-in sharing. It is handled under Apple's privacy policy and iCloud terms. We never see it.

Tracking & analytics

None. CoupleConnection contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking SDKs. We do not build a profile of you and we do not track you across apps or websites.

Notifications

The app can schedule reminders on your device — for example, the daily-question nudge or the "your partner answered" reveal prompt. These are handled by Apple's notification system and iCloud and are not sent through any server of ours.

Children

CoupleConnection is intended for adults and is rated 17+. It is not directed at children.

Your data, your control

Because we hold none of your data, there is nothing for us to export or delete on your behalf. To remove your data, delete the app and, if you wish, remove its data from iCloud in your device's Settings → [your name] → iCloud. Leaving a shared space also stops further syncing with your partner.

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and post the new version at this URL.
